My dear husband bought me this lovely orchid for Valentines Day. He spoils me so much. I have never had one before so I've been reading up on how to care for one.

  1. Oh my, it is gorgeous. What a lovely gift. Some say they are so easy to take care of, I don't know much about them except they are stunning.

Thanks so much for the visits and your gracious comment. I love having you. Hugs, Marty

  7. Hi, Sue! I see that you are from the midwest and by looking the photos (and your blog name), you live next to a lake. I'm from northern Indiana and my hubby and I recently downsized and moved by a lake, as well. I am a new follower. If you'd like, stop on over to my blog at Cairn Cottage (http://cairncottage.blogspot.com/). I would love to hear from you!
p.s. I love orchids! I've grown some in my garden, but never had a potted one before. You'll have to let us know if it is very easy to care for.
    ❤Ann

  8. Hi Sue! I can't imagine snow right now as I have on the air conditioning in my house! ;) Isn't it amazing what a few hundred miles can make in the temperature? Hope you're having a great week.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)
